THE ROLE

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Haypp, you'll collaborate with various departments and colleagues on diverse tasks. Your main goal is to maintain, configure, ensure compliance, and secure our services, systems, and endpoints. You'll also lead internal IT projects beyond daily team tasks.

In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of cloud-based systems, identifying potential security vulnerabilities, and implementing robust solutions to protect data integrity. You will work closely with network engineers, software developers, and system administrators to integrate new technologies and streamline workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments are essential for success in this role.

Moreover, you will oversee the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal scalability and reliability. You will conduct regular audits to assess the efficiency and security of our systems, troubleshoot complex issues that arise, and develop comprehensive documentation for processes and procedures. You will stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our processes and systems. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues will help you thrive in this dynamic position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS, including network configurations.
• Manage and configure Cloudflare settings for optimal security, performance, and network traffic management.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Bicep, with a focus on network resources like virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaboration with team members on network-related infrastructure projects.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure high availability and performance of the cloud environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure network configurations align with application needs and deployment workflows.
• Stay current with the latest Azure, AWS and Cloudflare features and best practices to continuously improve the network infrastructure.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven experience with Azure networking services and Cloudflare's network solutions.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code, specifically with Bicep for infrastructure resource management and using Git for source control management.
• Knowledge of cloud networking best practices, security standards, and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in network engineering.
• Relevant certifications in Azure networking and Cloudflare are a plus.
• Ability to work 100% on-site or hybrid remote with a minimum of 3 days/week in the Stockholm office.
