We are currently on an exciting expansion journey, converting more and more smokers to healthier alternatives across all our markets globally.

THE ROLE

As we are growing in the US market we are looking for a Lead Magento Developer and Lead to help develop and scale our Ecommerce platforms in the US market to the next level. We are currently using Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) as the E-com solution for our US sites Nicokick and Northerner.

As our Lead Magento Developer and Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our journey by:

• Strengthening our expertise: Building a robust foundation of knowledge about Magento and the e-commerce platform.

• Enhancing code quality: Leading more thorough code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Driving efficiency: Accelerating development processes and implementing improvements beyond the scope of the Product Owner role.

• Collaborating effectively: Acting as a bridge between technical teams and internal stakeholders to provide clear specifications and better guidance.

• Exploring opportunities in an attractive market: Play a key role in developing cuttingedge solutions for one of the most dynamic and fast-paced industries.

The following will be some of your daily work tasks:

• Lead the technical direction of our Magento platform development.

• Collaborate closely with technical teams and internal stakeholders.

• Conduct hands-on development work, including customizations, improvements, and troubleshooting.

• Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of technical excellence.

• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and solutions.

• Ensure high-quality deliverables through detailed code reviews and testing.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

• Extensive experience in PHP and Magento development: You’re a seasoned developer with a deep understanding of Magento architecture and best practices.

• Tech Leadership skills: Proven ability to take ownership, lead projects, and inspire confidence in others.

• Hands-on and proactive mindset: You thrive in a hands-on environment and are eager to drive tangible improvements.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills: You can interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and bridge gaps between teams.

• Language: Fluency in English as it is the working language at Haypp Group

Nice to have:

• Worked with Scrum and other agile methodologies
• Worked with Jira and Confluence
• Worked with Hyvä Theme and Hyvä Checkout
• Experience with Cloudflare
• Experience with Datadog
